Also in May we are re-releasing ‘BlackLight’ by the BlackLight Bassoon Ensemble. This CD was our first release on the Diabolical Genius label and debuted in 2005. On the new printing are two previously unrecorded bassoon quartets by Anthony Burgess, famed author of “A Clockwork Orange’. Burgess was a prolific composer in addition to being a brilliant writer and wrote many pieces for varied chamber ensembles. We look forward to the May 2007 release of ‘Infinity in All Directions,’ the first CD by our new band ContraNova. The band features the singing and song writing of Sean Craypo accompanied by bassoons, contrabassoon, vibes, clarinets, bass clarinet, trombones, banjo and upright bass.
